First check the weight it is able to support (preferably choose a "supported load" always a little higher than the actual weight of your equipment to ensure maximum stability). Also check the supported counterweight!
Depending on whether you make wildlife film as an amateur or professional, choose a quality/price ratio range best suited to your needs.
The highest-end head has better friction, they offer good resistance to the heaviest lenses and therefore have excellent fluidity. Their price is therefore higher.
