The SmallRig 5566 Wireless Video Repeater is a long-range Wi-Fi repeater designed to enhance remote control and video monitoring of your cameras.

Compact and lightweight, this module allows you to connect your camera to a smartphone or tablet to control settings and view the image in real time, even at a distance.

Thanks to its compatibility with manufacturers' native apps, you can remotely control your camera: focus, zoom, trigger photo/video recording, or modify settings. This solution is ideal for wildlife filming, shooting in challenging environments, video production, or remote photography.

The repeater operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands and can reach a maximum range of approximately 500 meters, depending on the camera model and usage conditions. It supports single-camera or multi-camera configurations, allowing the use of one or more monitoring devices simultaneously.

Designed for professional rigs, the SmallRig 5566 features multiple 1/4"-20 threads on the sides, top, and bottom, allowing for easy addition of accessories such as a power bank mount or V-Mount battery plate to ensure continuous power during extended shooting sessions.
