JAMA Infrared barrier BIR4 V2 without reflector for CANON (RS-80N3):

This infrared barrier can trigger a camera or flash (bat in flight) on the beam cut that works without reflector or transmitter side.

BIR4 The module is equipped with a transceiver incorporated.

This barrier will allow the device to trigger on a specific area such as a tree branch, a cliff perch...

A small JAMA package included the device allows the interface between the camera and the barrier from the industrial world. Some adjustments are necessary, just open the small transparent hatch on top of the module with a screwdriver, and adjust the sensitivity of the detector.

Warning: In case of rain or snow, this module may trigger unnecessary.

The range of this barrier is approximately 6 feets.

Consumption is about 0.02A or with a battery backup of 2.8A 140h (5 days and 10 h).

The module is completely sealed so the 2 screws closing valves are closed.
