Unlike the DECPIEG reference, here the reflex photo trigger comes with a power supply unit with 8 batteries (batteries optional, sold separately)! This type of power supply is a real advantage for those who wish to take their equipment on planes and abroad! (batteries are prohibited on planes)

Device for triggering a reflex camera (equipped with a remote control socket) from the triggering of a photo trap.

Thanks to the small "DECPIEG" box, when your photo trap detects a subject, the camera will be triggered at the same time!

The principle is to power the photo trap by an external power supply (here the battery box); the device will continuously measure the power consumption and trigger the camera as soon as the current increases.
The case works with AA or lithium batteries or 1.5 V rechargeable batteries.

If the photo trap takes a burst of 3 photos, the reflex camera will also take 3 photos, if the photo trap is asked to operate only at night, the triggers will only occur at night.

So we can take advantage of all the features of the photo trap to take magnificent shots with your Canon, Nikon... You can also put the photo trap in "video" mode, in this case the reflex films, if possible to do so, which is the case with the Canon 7DMkII for example.
