LEOFOTO - Universal L-Bracket :

The universally usable Leofoto MPU-100 L plate is suitable for various DSLR cameras.

It is perfectly suited to the following SLR cameras:

Nikon D800, D700, D7000, D5100, D3100 and D90.
Canon EOS 5DII, 5DIII, 6D and 7D.

But may be suitable for other SLRs if the dimensions are compatible:
110mm x 38mm x 80mm

Thanks to the use of aluminum, this L-bracket is extremely strong yet lightweight. The base plate and the L-piece are connected by a sturdy Allen screw.

Black anodized aluminum L-shaped plate

The two separate parts of the MPU-100 Universal L-Plate are CNC machined from aluminum and black anodized for high durability. Leofoto has equipped both parts of the MPU-100 with an Arca-Swiss quick connector and this L-plate is therefore Arca-Swiss compatible for horizontal and vertical use.

The L plate measures 110mm x 38mm x 80mm.
You can change batteries when the L-Blackplate is mounted under your camera and Leofoto has added a carrying eyelet for a wrist strap.

An L-shaped bracket for easy use

Using an L-plate or L-bracket maximizes the stability and ease of use of your camera on a ball head when moving from a horizontal (landscape) shooting position to a vertical (portrait) shooting.

Thanks to the L-bracket, the optical axis of the lens is always positioned directly above the center of the ball when taking portraits, and the weight of the camera also presses directly on the central axis of the kneecap. The Arca-Swiss quick coupler also allows you to move the camera on the ball head for perfect positioning relative to the subject.
