ARCA-SWISS - Monoball P1 + ball head which is with quick "FlipLock" mount (801208) with minimum Friction adjustment:

It is the same ball head as the P0 ref 801215 but in black and above all with a much larger ball head diameter.

The monoball p1 + presented here allows, using a small wheel, to keep in memory the brake you have chosen, after loosening the central ring.

the flip lock quick release system allows the plate to be quickly removed from its jaw with very great security. It takes 2 manipulations on the lever to completely release the tray.

Regardless of the user's position in front of the tripod, they can now intuitively grasp the body of the ball head and immobilize their device by simply turning the knurled part. No more fumbling around to find the blocking button!

The ball joint is equipped with three clamping elements arranged like planets around the ball. These clamping elements, or planets, are gears that surround the ball and, by their synchronized action, exert on it a perfectly uniform force. This configuration ensures smooth movement of the camera in all directions.

As the device is now located directly on the ball and not on its neck, all movements are perfectly stabilized, like a buoy. The aspherical ball also creates friction proportional to gravity, which prevents the device from tipping suddenly.

The unusual position of the panoramic system directly under the camera mount allows for a panning movement which perfectly maintains the vertical orientation. The ARCA-SWISS monoball P ball head is available in two versions, the monoball p0 and the monoball p1.

The P1 version shown here has a 90 ° ball tilt range and 360 ° pan movement. Despite its record weight of only 600 g and compact dimensions, it applies unrivaled holding force up to 30 kg.

With this ball joint you can mount either ARCA standard trays or Slidefix trays from Arca only which have the advantage of being smaller than the ARCA standard and well suited to a photo camera.
