The Vanguard ALTA SKY 52 is a camera backpack designed for wildlife photographers, birdwatchers, and enthusiasts using long telephoto lenses who need a bag that is spacious, comfortable, and practical in the field.

Compact and generally compliant with airline carry-on size limits, it is also suitable for traveling with your camera gear.

With a 20-liter capacity, it accommodates a camera body with a 150-600mm lens attached, while still offering plenty of room for additional lenses and accessories. Certain configurations accommodating lenses up to 200-800mm are also possible.

Its access system combines a full rear opening for easy access to all your gear with a quick-access top opening—ideal for grabbing your camera fast when a shooting opportunity arises.

The interior is fully padded and customizable to ensure effective gear protection. A removable padded sleeve is also included; it can be used to protect a long telephoto lens or carry a spotting scope, making the ALTA SKY 52 exceptionally versatile for outings that combine photography and observation.

The bag features ample storage space for accessories, as well as a dedicated compartment for a laptop (up to 16 inches) and a tablet (up to 11 inches). Expandable side pockets allow you to carry items like a water bottle or various accessories.

A central tripod attachment system makes it easy to carry your support while maintaining good balance. The bag also features a stowable waist belt, a chest strap, and a breathable 3D-padded back panel to enhance comfort during long outings. Made from 1000D and 600D polyester, the ALTA SKY 52 is designed to withstand the rigors of regular field use. An integrated rain cover protects the bag and its contents during inclement weather.
