• Orientation: East or Southeast, sheltered from prevailing winds

• Avoid areas too exposed to direct sunlight or rain

• Choose a quiet, secluded spot

• Keep the birdhouse away from predators such as cats

Installing the birdhouse in autumn or winter allows birds to locate it before the breeding season. However, the birdhouse can be installed until the very beginning of spring, in March. Remember to clean the birdhouse at the end of summer and remove the removable camera to protect it from the elements.
