JAMA - Video Trigger from a BIR3:

This small device triggers video or a series of photos, as well as the lighting, by activating an infrared barrier or a Decpieg.

In video mode, the recording duration is programmable in four increments, from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. The lighting automatically turns on at the start of video recording and then turns off at the end.

In photo mode, the trigger can be set to take from 1 to 8 photos, as desired. As in video mode, the LED lighting activates at the beginning of the shot and turns off at the end of the photo series.

With a digital camera without a mechanical shutter, the entire system operates silently, making it particularly suitable for observation and wildlife photography.

This system is currently designed for Nikon and Canon cameras. Programming for other camera models is possible if the communication protocol is available.

The entire system is housed in a waterproof enclosure equipped with four waterproof connectors. These connectors have different pinouts depending on whether they are used as input or output. Rubber covers protect the connectors when not in use.

Power must be supplied externally using a 12-volt battery, standard batteries, or a lithium battery.

The enclosure is supplied without lighting, which is available as an option. We recommend using LED lighting, which offers good efficiency with low power consumption.
