The noise might be just a sneeze, or thunder, or firearms. the sensitivity of this equipment can be adjusted by simply turning a knob.
A relay makes an electrical contact when the noise threshold is reached, and that turns on a red indicator light as well as controlling the flash or camera via a 2.5 mm socket.

Power is supplied by a 9v battery which will last about a hundred hours.

This system of camera shutter release has numerous uses, such as photographing a baloon bursting, or a glass breaking, or setting a photographic trap.

The response tile of the sound trigger is 1/100 second with it's normal relay. We offer an electronic substitution for the relay which will reduce the response time to zero.
