Jean C. Roché recorded CD1 entirely in the dry areas, from the Yala National Park in the south as far as Willpattu in the north-west, including some of the eastern coastal regions.

Anthony Walker recorded CD2 in the regions of Sigiriya, Kandy, Ratnapurna and Sinharajah, the last 3 located in the wet areas.

These 2 CDs evoke the great natural melodic and rhythmic atmosphere of this large island so close to Southern India. 115 minutes
