Sometimes these songs contain beautiful hidden music, that can be appreciated by listening to the song in slow motion. The accompanying leaflet contains amusing colour illustrations by Alexis Nouailhat for each bird species.

This double CD contains the songs of 84 bird species recorded in Europe, Africa, North and South America, Asia and Australia; another 39 are slowed down; in all 123 sound tracks and more than two hours of listening time. The accompanying 36 page booklet includes detailed notes for each recording; date and place, species name and slow motion ratio (2 or 4 times). 122 minutes
